IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced a strategic management agreement to open two new hotels in Bengaluru by 2028. This move marks a significant expansion of IHG’s portfolio in India, aimed at catering to the growing demand from the aerospace, tech, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sectors. With Bengaluru’s proximity to key industrial hubs and Kempegowda International Airport, the new hotels are set to serve both business and leisure travellers in the region.
IHG® Hotels & Resorts, a global leader in hospitality, has entered into a management agreement with Hotel Chetan International to establish two new hotels in Bengaluru. The development will feature Crowne Plaza Bengaluru KIADB Aerospace Park, positioned in the premium segment, alongside Holiday Inn Express Bengaluru KIADB Aerospace Park, part of IHG’s Essentials collection. Slated for opening in the first quarter of 2028, this dual development will contribute over 420 rooms to IHG’s expanding portfolio in India.
Strategically located within Bengaluru’s prominent industrial and aerospace zones and near Kempegowda International Airport, the new hotels are set to attract demand from major aerospace and tech firms, Global Capability Centres (GCCs), and surrounding businesses. Furthermore, the proximity to the BCCI Centre of Excellence and the National Cricket Academy, along with vibrant residential and commercial developments in the area, ensures that the hotels will benefit from strong demand across social, leisure, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) segments.
