Example: “I like these jeans because they fit my body type, the quality is great, they are affordable.” Another way to engage in this is by taking a “dupe” item of a designer and comparing it to a “more affordable” option.
Giveaways and Contests: Hosting giveaways or contests featuring products from brand partners can generate excitement and engagement among followers while also showcasing the brand’s offerings. Everyone loves FREE stuff and with all the gifts creators get it’s not a stretch to conduct these types of giveaways.
Behind-the-Scenes Content: Sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses of your life and collaborations, such as photos or videos from photo shoots, events, or product launches, provide followers with exclusive insights and build anticipation.
Tutorial or How-To Content: Influencers can create tutorials or how-to guides featuring the brand’s products or services. This is a must for content creators looking for brand partnerships. It not only shows brands the authentic nature of their interest, but their followers as well. I encourage my creators to engage their followers to create and share their own content featuring the brand’s products or services which can foster a sense of community and authenticity.

It also helps creators to know exactly what their followers are interested in knowing more about.

If you only texted your boyfriend or girlfriend once a week- how do you think that relationship will build? 🙂 Creators must show authenticity with their content, being transparent in your content will show,even isharing things you don’t like, that’s ok too! People know when you’re full of it! Set aside dedicated time each day to respond to comments, messages, and mentions, and actively participate in relevant conversations within your niche to stay top of mind with your followers.

I encourage my clients to look for influencers whose values and aesthetic align with theirs, and explore opportunities for co-created content, shoutouts, and joint campaigns to amplify your reach and engagement.

● A: This is tricky considering we all know that the consistency of engagement is faulty. The best way is to regularly monitor your social media analytics to track key engagement metrics such as likes, comments, shares, and click-through rates. Use this data to identify patterns, trends, and areas for improvement, and adjust your content strategy accordingly. Experiment with different tactics, monitor the results, and iterate based on what resonates most with your audience. Most importantly share what is most authentic to you as a creator because that translates!
