Claroty appoints Amir Preminger as CTO to drive innovation, enhance customer-centric product development

Claroty, a cyber-physical systems (CPS) protection company, announced on Tuesday the appointment of Amir Preminger as chief technology officer (CTO). In his role as CTO, Preminger will continue to lead Claroty’s research group, Team82, while expanding his impact by driving innovation across the company’s products and services, strengthening the link between technology and business growth.
He will also focus on ensuring customer insights drive product development to stay ahead of market needs and fostering a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and experimentation to accelerate innovation.
“At Claroty, innovation and customer experience are at the core of everything we do, and Amir has been a driving force behind both for nearly a decade,” said Yaniv Vardi, CEO at Claroty. “As CTO, his deep technical expertise, strategic mindset, and ability to bridge customer needs with technology will be instrumental in driving our next phase of growth and strengthening our leadership in CPS security.”
Preminger is an experienced cybersecurity researcher who founded Claroty’s Team82, guiding its innovative strategic direction and establishing it as the premier vulnerability and threat research team focused exclusively on CPS. Before Claroty, he spent almost a decade in one of the Israel Defense Force’s elite technological units, where he played a key role in the research and development of advanced cyber solutions across multidisciplinary domains.
“I am honored to take on the role of CTO at Claroty,” said Preminger. “Building and leading Team82 has been an incredible journey, and I look forward to furthering this work through product innovation and strategic growth. I am committed to aligning our technology decisions with business priorities and ensuring our solutions evolve to meet the unique needs of our customers while progressing our mission to secure the cyber-physical systems that underpin our lives.”
Earlier this month, Claroty announced a partnership with SealingTech, a Parsons Corporation subsidiary renowned for delivering advanced edge computing hardware and cybersecurity solutions to safeguard both federal government and private sector entities. The collaboration equips Cyber Protection Teams (CPTs) with the essential tools, expertise, and support needed to tackle the unique challenges of securing operational technology (OT) and CPS networks, even in the most demanding field environments.
