Ultraviolette appoints Vinayak Bhat as Chief Product Officer to lead innovation and growth

Ultraviolette (UV), a trailblazer in electric vehicle platforms and battery technology, has announced the promotion of Vinayak Bhat to the role of Chief Product Officer (CPO). This appointment marks a strategic move to accelerate the company’s product development and strategic growth initiatives.

Vinayak Bhat, who has been with Ultraviolette since 2017, brings over a decade of experience in aerospace and electric mobility to his new position. His extensive background includes roles at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and Safran Engineering, where he worked on key projects for Airbus and Boeing. Prior to becoming CPO, Vinayak served as the Technical Director and Principal Engineer at Ultraviolette, playing a pivotal role in the development of the F77 Mach 2 and F99 Racing Platform.

In his new role, Vinayak will oversee Ultraviolette’s product portfolio from design and development to market introduction. He will be instrumental in expanding the company’s product range and driving innovation in the high-performance electric vehicle sector. Vinayak’s focus will be on advancing the company’s vertical integration strategy, particularly in battery technology, drivetrain, and vehicle architecture.
